Continue the second phase of Spring MET 2017 at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center (C.E.O.N.) with competitions for young horses of 5, 6 and 7 years

Start of a new week of the international jumps competition

Oliva (Valencia), February 15, 2017.- The second phase of Spring MET 2017 continues at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center (CEON) with competitions for young horses of 5, 6 and 7 years, which mark the start of a new week of the international jumps contest. In the day today, three tests were played: in the 7 years with a height of 1.35 meters, in which 69 pairs participated, the winner was the French rider Harold Boisset with Athena Kervec, followed by the Irish Kenneth Graham with Beir Bua.

In the category of 6 years and 1.30 meters the victory was for Constant van Paesschen riding Bali des Cedres Verts and second place for Kenneth Graham, who with Newmarket Trooper repeated the same position as in the test of 7 years. The Belgian and the Irish were the most outstanding of the 71 riders and amazons that jumped to the track. The Ukrainian Anastasiia Yershova won with Marlon Vd Heffinck the other 23 participants in the 5-year and 1.15-meter-high event, which closed the day and where the second position went to Marco Antonio Merisio and his mare Ingrid.

Starting tomorrow, the competition starts at Oliva Nova on the different heights of the Gold and Silver classes, while the last races for young horses are held.
