The competition for young horses in the Spring MET continues

The final phase of the second phase of the Spring MET 2017 begins at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center (C.E.O.N.) with the competitions for young horses of 5, 6 and 7 years

In the day of today three tests were disputed: in the one of 7 years with a height of 1.40 meters, in which 66 binomials participated, the winner was the Belgian rider Cyril Cools with Kid Pleasure d’Asschaut followed by the French Harold Boisset with Kitty S and Edouard Mathe and Anabelle de Caudard

Oliva (Valencia), February 22, 2017.- In the category of 6 years and 1.30 meters the victory was for Neal Fearon riding Tuilleadh Uisce Beatha and the second place for Shane O’Reilly and Belga du Thot. These two riders along with David Simpson, who took third place with Diarados Black Diamond, completed a totally Irish podium in a race in which 71 participants took to the track. The Irish Philip Carey also won with Ashgrove Lexington to the other 23 riders and amazons in the competition of 5 years and 1.15 meters high in which the second position was for the French rider Harold Boisset riding Mowgli Bellissimo and the third for Kenneth Graham with Hyves-Onde W.

From tomorrow onwards, the competition starts at Oliva Nova on the different heights of the Gold and Silver classes (the Bronze category starts on Friday), while the last races for young horses are held. Once the Grand Prix of this Sunday is celebrated, the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour will take a break until its resumption on March 14.
