The Spring MET returns on March 14 to the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center
Oliva (Valencia), 26 de febrero de 2017.-
With the tests held this Sunday at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center (CEON), the second round of the four that make up the Spring MET 2017 was put to an end. This phase of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour, which has gathered more than 250 horsemen and almost 1,000 horses, celebrated a new Grand Prix at the height of 1.50 meters that was won by Constant van Paesschen with Isidoor van de Helle. The Belgian rider is on a roll in this edition, as he also won the main event last week. The equestrian competition returns to the tracks of Oliva Nova on March 14 with the third MET tour.
The second place in the reign, in which 54 riders and amazons participated, was for the Frenchman Philippe Leoni riding Shana de Kerglenn and the third for the rider Samantha Mcintosh, from New Zealand, with Check in 2. As far as refers to the Spanish representatives, Fernando Fourcade occupied the 17th position with Sundance. During these three weeks, the MET II has distributed more than 400,000 euros in prizes between the horse competitions of 5, 6 and 7 years and the tests of the Bronze, Silver and Gold categories in their different heights. This variety in competitions, with a wise combination of high competition and the opportunity to train young horses, is one of the characteristics most valued by all participants of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour.
The atmosphere in the Equestrian Center has been, as usual, very lively. In the presence of riders and companions must be added that of the spectators, both fans of the equestrian and neighbors of the area, who have come to the CEON to enjoy this international jumps competition, which will return to Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort next Tuesday, March 14 with the third part of the Spring MET, which will bring together some of the best riders and amazons in the world.
