Oliva (Valencia), January 18, 2017.- The Mediterranean Equestrian Tour has started as usual with the different categories for horses of 5, 6 and 7 years old. Three tests were held today: in the 7-year-old with a height of 1.35 meters, in which 43 pairs participated, the French rider Jean Charles Bernast won with Et Moi du Pont Letot, while that in the category of 6 years and 1.30 meters the great winner was Matteo Checchi, who occupied the first and second place of the classification riding Pistol Pete 111 Z and Sing de Marchesana, respectively. The Italian repeated success in the test of 5 years and 1.15 meters high, where he was first with the mare Desdemona Di Montefiridolfi and second with Bella Brown.
Thursday morning at Oliva Nova will be the last of this week in which the young horses will jump on the track, coinciding with the start of the tests in the different heights of the Gold and Silver categories.
