Oliva (Valencia). Wednesday, October 21st. Second day of competition in Autum Met 2015 4th edition. All the three jumping classes scheduled for today has been in two phases.
Day’s first competition has been a class for 5 Years Old Horses, obstacle height 1.20m. Great Britain’s Chloe Aston on Kandahar has won from a starting list of 38 couples. The arabian rider Moftah Al Dhaheri on Ghanati has finished in second place, followed by Italy´s Daniele Cancongni on Naranjoflor del Sole.
In the second test for 6 Years Old Horses, obstacle height 1.30. Sebastian Kapel from Nederland on Vanda de la Renta has been the winner from a list of 41 competitors. In second place Switzerland’s Martina Meroni on Balou Vat Hen Molenhof Z and third has been the rider from Great Britain, Jamie Wingrove on Retro III.
The sun has shone at the third and the last class of the day, a 7 Years Old Horses test with and obstacle height 1.35 m. Jerome Guery from Belgium on Capelotti has emerged victorious followed by his fellow, also from Belgium, Constant Van Paesschen riding Kongsberg HH Z. Third position has also been for Guery on his second horse, Cibelle du Seigneur.
Young Horses classes will continue tomorrow during the morning’s session. The last class of the day will be the first Longines Ranking Gold Tour with a total ammount of 24.500 Euro in prizes that will be allocated to reward the most outstanding riders.
During three weeks of intense competition Oliva Nova Equestrian Center (CEON) will bring together some of the most prominent horse riders representing the present and the future of the international equestrian scene.
